This month’s ‘ Client Stories’ showcases how Paul Ras of Sense Marketing is breaking into new markets after finding a UK PR Partner through The Work Crowd.

Sense Marketing isn’t your average agency, they have a unique specialism in horticulture PR & Marketing and are based in the Netherlands. Paul approached The Work Crowd for extra support here in the UK for  their client Always Kalanchoe, a collective of 28 breeders and growers of the Kalanchoe plant.

Last year they had targeted communications towards the wholesalers in the UK, the next phase of their campaign is to expand their efforts to reach consumers, the potential buyers of the Kalanchoe plant. This required a UK based PR partner with a strong background in the Consumer market and good access to regional, national offline and online magazines for women covering everything from interior, lifestyle and gardening.

Paul quickly identified his UK PR partner and when asked on his experience with The Work Crowd:

“We efficiently found the right PR freelancer with The Work Crowd. After we placed our project for plant Growers group, ‘Always Kalanchoë' we got reactions from about 20 good freelancers. So, we had enough to choose from. The caliber was so high,  it was even difficult to select. We made a shortlist of 3 and after  good conversations with them all, we  selected the right freelancer for us, who was Amanda from Bristol.

For us The Work Crowd was an efficient and fast way to select a good PR freelancer!”

Amanda’s plans are still under wraps, but we have been confidently informed that  we will be seeing exciting things about Kalanchoe and their beautiful flowers to come!

She is taking a highly target approach to the consumer media, combined with expert and influencer collaborations as well as devising a creative social campaigns to spread the word across the interiors and lifestyle space.
