Content Writer Role & Key Responsibilities
Content Writer Requirements
We’re looking for a skilled content writer who can confidently communicate complex topics to both B2B and B2C audiences.
You’ll be responsible for producing well-researched, original blog content and other written materials such as case studies, thought leadership content or white papers that reflect brand consistency and drive engagement.
You will need experience in or be comfortable working on content across the UK Legal Sector:
- Legal Services for Individuals & Businesses (eg. Wills, Trusts & Probate, Conveyancing, Family Law, Commercial & Corporate Services, Litigation and Dispute Resolution, Employment Law etc)
- Legal Sector Risk & Compliance
- Legal Technology & Software / SaaS / AI

Core Responsibilities
- Translate complex topics into clear, accessible content tailored to the intended audience
- Write engaging, well-structured blogs or articles, incorporating provided keywords and formatting guidelines to ensure SEO optimisation.
- Ability to write compelling case studies based on a provided brief, ideally using a storytelling approach to bring the content to life and enhance reader engagement.
- Ability to research a topic thoroughly and develop structured, thought-leading content such as white papers — including setting out the framework and narrative to support key insights.
- Conduct thorough research using credible sources and perform fact-checking to maintain accuracy and authenticity.
- Review, fact-check, and improve existing content to maintain accuracy, relevance, and quality.
- Only use AI tools to support ideation, structure, and efficiency - while maintaining the ability to produce original, high-quality content that reflects human insight and avoids the generic tone, buzzwords, formats associated with AI-generated writing.
Nice to have:
- Experience creating email marketing copy that delivers measurable improvements in open and click-through rates.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a content writer, copywriter, or similar role – ideally within a B2B environment.
- Strong command of written English with an engaging and professional tone.
- Excellent writing, proofreading, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and brand consistency.
- Ability to work independently from a detailed brief, showing initiative and creativity.
- Comfortable using our project management tool ClickUp, for centralised briefing and communications.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles – keywords will be provided.
- Highly organised and reliable – deadlines are never missed.
- Open to constructive feedback and able to apply it to improve future work.
