We are looking for a hands-on freelance Brand, Marketing & Communications professional to help elevate our corporate brand and reputation.
You will play a critical role in taking forward work already done internally on brand strategy (currently at a good foundational level), professionalising it further, and then activating it both internally and externally.
This is a highly collaborative role, working closely with the MD and the Head of Marketing & eCommerce.
Key Responsibilities
- Brand Strategy: Refine and complete our brand strategy, turning it into an actionable plan.
- Internal Communications: Drive engagement across teams, winning hearts and minds internally so everyone lives and breathes the brand.
- External Communications: Help cascade the brand story, values and messaging to customers, prospects, trade media and other external stakeholders.
- Multi-Channel Activation: Develop and guide use of paid, owned and earned channels to build our reputation.
Key Requirements:
- Senior B2B brand & communications specialist with a strong track record in corporate reputation management.
- Comfortable working directly with senior leadership and advising on brand positioning, messaging and campaigns.
- Strategic yet hands-on — able to set direction and also roll up sleeves to execute.
- Based within reach of Birmingham for occasional in-office days (approx. 1-2 days/week).
