I work for Phronesis Partners, a research, insights and thought leadership advisory firm.
We are preparing to launch a new multi-client study examining the effectiveness of Private Markets educational content in the US wealth channel, for which we are looking for support in terms of PR to help maximize the reach and impact of the findings.
The study will examine how advisors use educational content throughout the Private Markets client journey, assess the fund material subscribers choose, and benchmark the effectiveness of each provider's educational content against competitors and the wider market. The aim is to identify what helps advisors build confidence in Private Markets recommendations, where educational content falls short, and how asset managers can improve its impact.
As mentioned we are looking for support in developing a PR strategy around the findings, securing relevant media coverage and identifying opportunities to present the research at industry events. As this is a specialized sector we are particularly interested in working with someone who understands the US private markets and wealth management sectors to help maximize the research findings.
Previous research
By way of background we have already completed two studies in this space:
- The Private Markets Readiness Gap: Published in summer 2026 this study is based on independent research with 400 wealth managers and financial advisers across the UK and US. It reveals how advisers assess private market opportunities, where confidence gaps remain, and how asset managers can better support client conversations. We presented findings alongside the FT in New York and at The Ned in London.
- Inside the Allocator’s Mind: What 300 LPs Want from Private Market Managers: This US study from spring 2026 surveyed 300 US institutional LPs representing $1.3 trillion in private markets AUM, combining in-depth qualitative interviews with a Q4 quantitative survey to understand how investment selection decisions really get made.
