We are UK health technology company enabling hospital-level monitoring at home for NHS and social care providers. Marketing is a one-person team with a major campaign programme and a series of events to deliver before the end of the year. The Marketing Lead is looking for a coordinator to support with the logistics, research, data and admin requirements, so that they can focus on strategy, content and relationships. The role suits someone organised who takes the initiative and can jump straight in.
Responsibilities
Events
- Event logistics and coordination - researching venues, managing venue and supplier relationships (including catering and AV), ordering, printing and shipping of event materials, and maintaining guest lists as RSVPs come in
- Conference administration - registering the team for conferences, booking travel and accommodation, managing exhibitor portals and submission deadlines so nothing is missed
- Guest and speaker research - building and verifying invitation lists against a target audience brief, researching contacts and potential speakers, and delivering clean spreadsheets ready for import
- Event communications - building and scheduling reminder e-shots and registration page updates from approved copy, monitoring RSVPs, and chasing non-responders
- Post-event follow-up - processing leads into HubSpot, sending follow-up emails from approved copy, and compiling attendance and engagement numbers into a short debrief
Campaign
- Campaign launch support - running QA checks ahead of campaign launches (links, test sends, forms), and keeping campaign assets filed and version-controlled
- HubSpot data administration - importing contact lists, deduplicating records, monitoring registrations, and entering leads with correct tagging (HubSpot experience helpful but not required)
Other marketing
- Social media support - drafting and creating posts from templates and existing approved content, including the accompanying graphics, for the Marketing Lead's sign-off, and scheduling approved posts
- Marketing foundations and trackers - helping set up and maintain the shared infrastructure that keeps the function running: the marketing calendar, folder structure and filing on SharePoint, templates, and the team's planners and trackers (events tracker, evidence and asset library, case study log)
- Ad hoc marketing requests - supporting with general requests as they come up, such as updating patient leaflets or partner-specific assets
Who suits this role
- Highly organised, with a really good eye for detail - across data, design and messaging alike
- Takes the initiative and just gets on with things - happy to be handed a task and work out the best way to deliver it
- Confident chasing people politely and persistently - suppliers, venues, non-responders
- A clear communicator who flags problems early and keeps things moving without needing to be prompted
- Quick to pick up new tools and platforms - for example, HubSpot, Canva, Figma, Jira, Confluence, Claude, etc.
- Brings care and integrity to their work - reliable, and takes pride in doing things properly
- Comfortable being part of a small team - collaborative when needed, self-sufficient the rest of the time
- Experience in events coordination or marketing preferred
