Overview
A hospitality founder is renovating and launching a new bar in Farringdon, set within a busy office district with strong after-work potential. The concept is being developed, and we’re looking for a hands-on freelance marketeer to shape the brand and establish early traction ahead of launch.
There may be scope for further work later on another venue in Camden, offering continuity for the right person.
What we’re looking for
A creative hospitality marketer who understands how to build local buzz, attract nearby audiences and create a strong brand presence from day one.
Key responsibilities
• Develop the brand identity, tone of voice and launch marketing plan
• Build awareness across social media, content and digital channels
• Form partnerships with local offices, businesses and community groups
• Lead PR outreach across London consumer and lifestyle media
• Plan and run local promotions and customer-acquisition activity
• Coordinate photography, videography and content creation
• Track performance and suggest ways to optimise activity
Experience required
• Proven hospitality marketing experience, ideally bars or nightlife
• Knowledge of Farringdon and central London audiences
• Ability to work across brand, social, PR, partnerships and promotions
• Comfortable working independently and contributing ideas at pace
• Experience helping shape early-stage venue concepts
Budget & time
• £2–3k per month retainer
• Approx. 1–2 days per week, depending on activity
• Potential to increase as the venue grows
