Our client is a boutique communications agency supporting a growing roster of high-profile business leaders and personalities. They're looking for a women's wellbeing/lifestyle specialist to strengthen their reach into women's glossy magazines and the wider wellbeing/lifestyle press alongside their existing national and business media work.
What you'll be doing
- Developing women's wellbeing/lifestyle-focused media strategies for a variety of clients
- Spotting news hooks, thought leadership angles and media opportunities suited to glossy and wellbeing/lifestyle titles
- Pitching in and securing coverage across relevant wellbeing/lifestyle publications
- Drafting and editing press materials, briefing documents and media commentary with a wellbeing/lifestyle lens
- Building strong relationships with wellbeing/lifestyle journalists, editors and producers
- Advising clients on reputation and personal brand positioning from a wellbeing/lifestyle angle
What we're looking for
- Proven media relations, publicist or PR experience, with a focus on individual profile-raising
- A strong, current network of contacts within women's glossy magazines and the wider women's wellbeing/lifestyle press
- A confident storyteller with a nose for news and a good understanding of personal brand positioning
- Experience working with entrepreneurs, founders or high-profile individuals
- Comfortable juggling multiple briefs in a fast-paced, agile agency environment
- A proactive self-starter who can slot in alongside an existing team
Duration & commitment
Part-time, ongoing project support, working across multiple client briefs alongside the agency's existing roster.
Rate
Competitive day rate, depending on experience – to be discussed directly with the client.
