Role Overview
We are seeking a high-energy Freelance PR professional to place our client at the centre of the DACH media conversation (Germany as the main market, Austria and Switzerland as secondary markets). You will proactively find newsworthy angles and pitch high-impact stories to prime-time broadcasters and national press.
Key Media Targets
- Mainstream TV: Secure live DNA reveals and guest segments on ARD, ZDF, and RTL.
- Mainstream Online & Print: High-impact features in BILD, Der Spiegel, and Focus.
- Wire Services: Viral stories for DPA, AP, and Reuters.
Key Responsibilities
- Angle Identification: Monitor local social trends and the local calendar to find clever hooks.
- Proactive Pitching: Come up with original ideas for prime-time TV.
- Podcast & Audio: Proactively find opportunities to feature on high-reach, big local podcasts where relevant to the storytelling.
- Paid Media Strategy: Identify and evaluate relevant paid opportunities (integrations or partnerships) within mainstream TV and top-tier podcasts.
