Fashionizer Brand Building
Purpose
To raise the profile and visibility of the Fashionizer bespoke uniforms brand for a luxury B2B audience: owners, directors and procurement teams of luxury hospitality and retail brands. The work should bring to life the key messages from our website through specific, provable stories, securing coverage in relevant trade, design and business media.
Our key messages, and the stories that prove them
- Bespoke design: every project is designed with brand storytelling in mind.
- Trusted by the world's finest, for over thirty years, designing exclusively for luxury brands since 1993.
- Uniforms that work on real people, in real situations: comfort, durability and an impeccable fit, underpinned by a deep understanding of operational requirements.
- Made in Europe, positioned as a genuine post-Brexit differentiator.
- Sustainability, told with transparency.
Target media
Hospitality, design and interiors trade press, with selective business or national features where there is a strong luxury, hospitality, founder or craft-led angle. Target titles may include Hotel Designs, Boutique Hotelier, Sleeper, European Spa, and relevant interiors or design publications. Stories can be built around notable projects and associated awards or publicity, bespoke textiles, sizing and fit, working with UK and European fabric mills, the operational value of uniform design, and the challenges of sustainability in textiles. We are also interested in opportunities for our director to provide expert comment on relevant industry topics.
Ideal consultant profile
We are looking for a senior freelance PR consultant rather than junior agency support. Relevant experience should include luxury B2B, hospitality, spas, interiors, design, textiles or premium manufacturing. The right person will be able to think strategically, shape strong editorial angles and personally pitch to appropriate journalists.
What we want from the consultant
Support in creating a focused PR strategy and identifying the best options for one or two well-placed stories initially. This project is an introduction, with a view to building an ongoing PR relationship. We would expect practical recommendations on story angles, target publications, journalist contacts, timing and outreach, including opportunities for founder profile, expert comment and thought leadership on relevant topics in our field.
What success looks like
Success should be judged by quality and relevance rather than volume. We are looking for credible visibility in the right trade, design, spa, hospitality and business media; stronger recognition of Fashionizer as a specialist luxury uniform partner; greater visibility for Debbie Leon as founder and expert voice; and useful journalist relationships that can develop over time.
Tone and brand voice
Experts in our field and differentiate uniform design from fashion, international reach, what bespoke design entails, quality focused and benefit-led features.
The tone should be confident, expert and commercially grounded, avoiding generic fashion language or unsupported sustainability claims.
Commercial and practical
Around one to two days per month of senior consultant time, an initial three-month period to assess fit, and one firm condition: the consultant must not currently represent, or take on during the engagement, a directly competing bespoke uniform company.
Budget: £1,500 per month.
What we would like back from applicants
- Relevant experience in luxury B2B, hospitality, design, luxury fashion, textiles or premium brand communications.
- Examples of recent coverage they have personally secured in relevant publications.
- Three suggested story angles for Fashionizer and the target publications or journalists they would approach.
- A proposed month-one plan and outline three-month approach.
- A clear explanation of what the monthly budget covers, including time, deliverables and any additional costs.
