We are a fast-growing European tech company expanding into the UK market, with a new office recently opened in London. We are seeking an experienced UK-based freelance PR professional to support our upcoming communications around a major funding announcement, followed by our UK market launch.
Key Objectives:
Secure media coverage in top-tier tech and business publications (e.g. TechCrunch, relevant UK trade and national press)
Build awareness of our brand and product offering among UK commercial and bid directors within enterprise-level companies
Strategically time and place announcements around the funding round and UK market entry
Establish ongoing thought leadership in the UK market over a 3+ month campaign
Deliverables:
Develop and execute a targeted media strategy for the UK
Draft and distribute press releases for the funding round and UK launch
Identify and pitch to relevant media outlets and journalists
Advise on the UK media landscape and opportunities to reach key decision-makers
Support with op-eds, interviews and longer-term profiling of the CEO and leadership team
Ideal Freelancer:
UK-based with a strong network of media contacts in tech, B2B, and national business press
Proven track record of landing high-impact stories in relevant outlets
Able to offer strategic input and act as a trusted advisor on UK PR execution
Available for an initial three-month engagement with potential to continue longer term
Start Date:
Immediate – with a first key announcement (investment round) planned within the next month
Location:
Remote, with occasional London meetings if needed
