Shape the Corporate Social Voice Behind Speedo, Berghaus, ellesse & More
About Us
We’re the name behind some of the world’s best-loved active and lifestyle brands, including Speedo, Berghaus, Kickers, ellesse, Canterbury of New Zealand, and more. We create high performance products with purpose, driven by our consumer first, brand led, digitally enabled approach.
We’re looking for a creative and connected Social Media Manager to help tell our story across LinkedIn, Instagram, and the Pentland Brands blog. This is a great opportunity to join a small but passionate Communications team on a freelance basis (2 days a week).
The Role
You’ll be responsible for planning, writing, scheduling and reporting on content across our LinkedIn, Instagram, and corporate blog, helping bring to life the energy of our brands and people through a corporate lens.
We’re not here to sell shoes on socials. We’re here to champion the people, culture and purpose behind the brands that do.
You’ll work closely with our Communications, HR, Brand and Sustainability teams to:
- Translate corporate press releases, people initiatives and brand stories into engaging social content
- Write with a consistent Pentland tone of voice, making corporate content feel human, creative and culturally aware
- Source and shape content from across our brand teams, turning raw material into stories that sing
- Monitor and respond to engagement, working with internal stakeholders when needed
- Use Sprinklr to schedule, plan, and report on performance
What We’re Looking For
We’re after someone who is:
- A brilliant writer and social native who can adapt content for different platforms and audiences
- Confident managing and curating brand stories with a corporate-but-cool tone
- Proactive in sourcing content across a business. You’ll be expected to dig for stories and spot the gold in a spreadsheet or press release
- Comfortable working independently, but collaborative and confident when gathering info from stakeholders
- Organised, with strong attention to detail and an eye for brand aligned visuals
- Interested in our world. You don’t need to be a sportswear expert, but a curiosity for culture, sustainability, creativity or community is a big bonus
Bonus Points For:
- Experience working in a multi-brand or consumer product business
- Interest in sports, streetwear or active culture
- Light design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express) or ability to brief visuals confidently
- Experience managing corporate or employer brand channels
- Familiarity with Sprinklr, including scheduling and reporting features
Why Join Us?
- Work with some of the most exciting brands in sport and style
- Shape the social voice of a global business with a people-first mindset
- Flexible: 2 days per week, with autonomy to spread hours across Tuesday, Wednesday and/or Thursday
- Be part of a supportive, ambitious and down to earth team
